The International Standard Content Code (ISCC) – why libraries, archives and museums should use it
At the end of May 2024, ISO 24138:2024, the International Standard Content Code (ISCC) was adopted as an international standard from the family of identifiers. In contrast to the established identifiers, which practically identify an intellectual work as a product, e.g. a publisher‘s publication, the ISCC refers to the media file itself.
